Quality Management according to ISO

The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) evaluates the quality management of companies from all sectors of the economy.

The I-TEG can proudly refer to the quality seal DIN EN ISO 9001, which was awarded to us in 2017. This quality mark is recognised worldwide and represents a seal of quality. It indicates that a quality management system has been implemented in our company, which ensures that our products meet international requirements. The quality management includes the following areas, among others:

• Operational planning and control of the quality policy
• Determination and verification of requirements for products or services
• Continuous monitoring and updating, including internal audits
• Client orientation, including communication with the client
• Documentation of the information

and a whole series of other processes. Compliance with the criteria of the DIN EN ISO 9001 certificate is checked regularly.

Approval for fire alarm systems according to DIN 14675

Two of our employees have an approval for fire alarm systems according to the DIN 14675 standard, which is granted to persons who have proven that they are able to plan and design the professional installation and operation of a fire alarm system.

Since November 1, 2003, fire alarm systems with direct alarming of the fire brigade may only be planned, projected, installed, commissioned, dismantled and maintained by companies that have qualified personnel with the appropriate approval. Our employees have both the approval for fire alarm systems and for speech alarm systems.

The scope of validity of the approvals according to DIN 14675 is limited to Germany, as this is a German standard. A prerequisite for the granting of the approval is the prior issue of the quality certificate DIN EN ISO 9001.

Approval for drinking water systems according to VDI/DVGW 6023

Our employee Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Torsten Detlefsen is a certified technical planner according to VDI/DVGW 6023 (category A). This means that the TGA technical planner has provided proof of his qualification for the hygiene-conscious planning, construction and operation of drinking water installations of all kinds. Although the above-mentioned guideline is not legally binding, it is considered a recognised rule of technology and came into force in 1999.

Membership in organisations and associations

Our CEO, Dipl.-Ing. André Hundt, is a member of the German Society of Hospital Hygiene (DGKH). Furthermore, he is a board member of the Innovation Centre for Energy and Resource Management (IZER).
